This workshop used thermochromic paint and textile as the medium of art. On the reverse side of the painted textile, conductive paint was used to create a circuit with the Arduino and a piezo sensor that responded to pressure. As the piezo was pressed between a user’s fingers, the current would travel through the conductive paint and generate heat to the textile. This changed the color of the designs of the thermochromic paint.
